Fireboy And Watergirl

Inside the Temple

Fireboy and Watergirl is a puzzle platformer with two characters sharing each level. Fireboy can move through fire, while Watergirl can move through water. Green liquid is harmful to both. The temple rooms contain switches, doors, gaps, moving platforms, and other obstacles. Diamonds are placed around the levels as optional pickups. The stage is cleared when both characters reach the exit.

Getting Past Each Room

How the Levels Work

Take a look around before making a move. A switch may open a door on the other side of the room, or one character may need to wait while the other crosses first. Some sections are easier when the characters are handled one at a time.

The opening levels are easier to understand. Later rooms require more careful movement and coordination. Two people can share the keyboard and take one character each. Solo play is also available, although keeping track of both characters takes more concentration.

• Left / Right Arrow: Move
• Up Arrow: Jump

• Fireboy should not enter water.
• Watergirl should not enter fire.
• Keep both characters away from green liquid.

Work Out the Order

• Look for switches before moving deeper into a room.
• Let one character wait when needed.
• With two players, decide who controls each character.
• In solo play, move one character at a time in tight sections.
